You loved my last Trader Joe’s dupe comparison so here’s another one: the $10 sunscreen that’s basically a $36 girl. I read the ingredient labels so you didn’t have to — and Trader Joe’s Shimmer Oil Sunscreen ($9.99) is a near-perfect dupe for Kopari Sun Shield Body Glow ($36). Here’s what the labels actually say: ✦ Same 4 active filters → Kopari just runs them hotter to hit SPF 50. ✦ Same coconut energy → warm coconut vs. Kopari’s coconut milk + vanilla ✦ Same shimmer trick → bronze mica on TJ’s, gold pearl on Kopari ✦ 88% dupe rating → save $26 per bottle The only real differences? SPF level (30 vs 50), format (spritz oil vs body gel), and Kopari’s lusher oil cocktail (avocado, coconut, macadamia, kukui). TL;DR: If you want pump-out gel and luxe oils → splurge on the Kopari.
